New
XL1200N Sportster Nightster
The
Sportster goes over to the dark side, where it'll line up nicely alongside the
Night Train and Night Rod.
With a rear light
assembly that will get the veins standing up on the necks of an SVA tester,
and
a retro vibe that makes a Street Bob look like it dropped off the set of Buck
Rogers, it looks like Harley are paying a little more attention to their four-cams.
Including a number
of firsts, including the Motor Company's first production side-mount license
plate, it'll be interesting to see how - and delivery has been confirmed - they'll
bring it to Europe without seriously modifying the rear lighting rig which is
a central reflector tucked under the back of the chopped rear mudguard and dual-filament
stop/tail bulbs behind the red lenses of the indicators, which also flash as
turn signals.
