Readership Questionnaire:
We have resolved not to track individual users because we feel it is an intrusion, and it wouldn't tell us what we want to know anyway. What we want to know is who is reading American-V, and where in the world you are. We've added a little to the original form, but not much: fill in as much or as little as you are comfortable with, no fields are compulsory but it's important that what you do fill in is accurate so we can get a good idea of who we're talking to.

It's hardly the most taxing form on the planet, because we don't want to turn this into a social demographic survey - and if you're on AOL and the form doesn't work, just stick the answers in an email and send them to questionnaire@american-v.co.uk.

Your response will come back through email so if you want to remain wholly anonymous, don't fill in the form: it's your call. We undertake not to use any information you send to us against you, or pass it on to any third party: there isn't a "non-disclosure" box because we just don't do that sort of thing.

What do we want the information for? So we can let potential advertisers know that there are people here that they want to talk to.

Just so you know, we are committed to make sure advertising is relevent to our editorial. If the advertisers are the kind of people you're likely to want to talk to, everyone wins: you get your bits, they sell their stuff and we get paid. If we get paid, we can afford the time to make this even better - which means we can attract more readers, and that will attract more advertisers, so you'll be able to find the bits you need even easier.
